Vision Statement

Timber Lakes exists to provide opportunities for concentrated Bible preaching and teaching promoting the revitalization of the local church, to augment the evangelism of the local church, to encourage and bring spiritual renewal to individual and family life, and to provide an atmosphere in a recreational setting that will promote togetherness, and unity in the greater body.

 

Mission Statement

Timber Lakes exists to provide facilities for family camp meetings, youth, children’s and other camps and retreats in order to enhance spiritual development and maturity through meaningful worship, sound Biblical exposition, practical Biblical instruction, and loving, Christian fellowship and recreation in a natural setting, all to the glory of God.

 

Purpose Statement

The purpose of Timber Lakes is to provide a place, through God’s provision:

  • To bring people to Christ through Evangelism.
  • To teach and demonstrate Biblical values for the Enrichment of the family
  • To present growth opportunities for the Edification of the whole body of Christ through
  • Excellence in ministry and facilities that in all things Christ might be Exalted

  1. We are committed to the exaltation of Jesus Christ, first and foremost in all that we say and do.
  2. We are committed to the edification of the Body of Christ through building community.
  3. We are committed to the enrichment of the family by offering opportunities for the strengthening of marriages, the building of family unity, and the spiritual growth and development of singles and other specialized groups.
  4. We are committed to the evangelism of unbelievers and the spiritual renewal of the unchurched, as an intentional ingredient of all ministries.
  5. We are committed to excellence in programming and facilities so as to make participants feel welcome, comfortable and loved.
